Budget Public Hearing stuff for 9/8 @ 10am

We are holding a public hearing on the Fire/EMS and Landfill budgets at our next Board Meeting. Here are the documents to be discussed. FireEMS-Landfill-6month-Budget FireEMS-Landfill-12month-Budget.

There are 2 documents due to the Township staff’s desire to migrate the Fire/EMS and Landfill Budgets back into alignment with our April 1 to March 31 fiscal year.  The 6-month version covers the period from now until next March.  The 12-month version covers the period from now until next September and can be used to continue the existing schedule. 

Lovells Township residents have expressed concerns with Renewable Energy Facilities and Data Centers.  The Lovells Township Planning Commission is actively working on ordinances to address these concerns and would appreciate your input at the up coming public hearing 7/6/2026 @ 5pm township hall.

Board of Review(BOR) meetings occur in March, July, and December. This is your opportunity to question your assessment or apply for an exemption. BOR duties include hearing taxpayer appeals, adjusting assessments (raising/lowering values), granting poverty or disabled veteran exemptions, and correcting clerical errors or omissions.
